Whitney Lowe, the founder of OMERI, wanted a long-overdue makeover for his company’s web site, but needed to find someone who would apply the same standards of high quality and attention to detail that he applies to his own work. His goals included an updated visual design, revised navigation and organization, blog integration, and an easy-to-use practitioner directory.

The new site offers all of the above, along with an extensive collection of user resources, a newsletter subscription form, faculty bios, custom print formatting, and ease-of-use for both the reader and the site’s editors.

Addison County SWMD

The ACSWMD uses their web site to store a vast amount of reference information for Addison County residents. Their existing site, however, had grown over the years into something that was difficult to manage and organize. And only one person in the organization had the ability to make the frequent edits.

Their new site is built on a content management system that permits just about anyone in their office to log in and make changes or additions. We organized the site so that the most sought-after information would become more prominent over time, and created a disposal reference guide that they could easily adapt and expand over time. Readers can download or request district publications, search articles by topic, and print well-formated pages of handy reference information.

The visual theme changes with the Vermont seasons.

World Leadership Corps

The World Leadership Corps is based on the idea that international volunteer service and cross-cultural living can make a difference in meeting critical global challenges and provide life-changing experiences for future leaders.

The WLC was taking a fresh look at their mission, their goals, and their web site. In preparation for the launch of new projects and fund-raising efforts, they wanted a new web site that had a fresh, modern appearance and more focused, concise content.

Because custom design was not a high priority, I lowered costs by working from a well-constructed page template, and used javascript to organize a large amount of content into smaller, more easily digestible sub-pages.

Meyers & Munafo

Meyers & Munafo provides consulting services to help clients advance organizational excellence by creating diverse and inclusive educational and business environments

This client needed a skilled and experienced web designer to complete a site that had been only partially constructed. I converted the site to a CMS using WordPress and updated the visual design for a more professional appearance. I streamlined the site’s navigation, and resolved issues with browser compatibility and clean page printing.

Warner Body Therapy

The owner of Warner Body Therapy had a massage business and web site with an identity that did not fit his personality. Because a new visual desgin was a high priority for him, we spent considerable time at the start exploring a number of design themes. My work for him also included the creation of business cards and pamphlets.
