This client was looking for an attractive online portfolio to showcase her work and highlight upcoming shows. I created a custom WordPress theme that uses watercolor paper and brushes as background images, and integrated the site with PayPal for easy online purchases of cards and prints.

Erin Sykes has worked hard to grow her business, her clientele, and her future plans for her fitness training business. When deciding how to spend her limited marketing budget, she knew that a high-quality web site was a high priority. For Erin, it was important that her site convey her professionalism and dedication to quality–something that would have been lacking from a free, template-based site.

Erin can login to her site to make edits and add content. The photo-based page design takes advantage of a set of great action photos she was able to provide.

World Leadership Corps

The World Leadership Corps is based on the idea that international volunteer service and cross-cultural living can make a difference in meeting critical global challenges and provide life-changing experiences for future leaders.

The WLC was taking a fresh look at their mission, their goals, and their web site. In preparation for the launch of new projects and fund-raising efforts, they wanted a new web site that had a fresh, modern appearance and more focused, concise content.

Because custom design was not a high priority, I lowered costs by working from a well-constructed page template, and used javascript to organize a large amount of content into smaller, more easily digestible sub-pages.

Teaching For The World

Our primary focus is on teaching opportunities in China. This fall, in cooperation with the Dipont Educational Management Group in Shanghai, we are offering exciting positions to college graduates who are interested in teaching English in China.

Custom design was not a priority for this client. However, a quick turnaround was very important. We reduced cost and saved time by adapting a well-constructed template, allowing me to focus on the online application form, the site’s most time-consuming feature.
