The WLC was taking a fresh look at their mission, their goals, and their web site. In preparation for the launch of new projects and fund-raising efforts, they wanted a new web site that had a fresh, modern appearance and more focused, concise content.

Because custom design was not a high priority, I lowered costs by working from a well-constructed page template, and used javascript to organize a large amount of content into smaller, more easily digestible sub-pages.

Custom design was not a priority for this client. However, a quick turnaround was very important. We reduced cost and saved time by adapting a well-constructed template, allowing me to focus on the online application form, the site’s most time-consuming feature.

The owners of TouchChi had planned to create their own web site, but the reality of launching a successful business meant that time was short, and there were always other tasks that took a higher priority.

Rick and Troy came to me with a logo, a color palette, and very well-considered thoughts about the professional image and style they wanted to convey. We worked closely together to create a stylish design that met their exacting requirements.

This site’s main feature is its visual design, which I built around the central photo. The floating image with transparent shadow works on supported browsers, and degrades gracefully everywhere else.
